About
Bright futures initiative
our mission statement
Bright Futures Initiative is committed to eradicating modern slavery in all its forms through increased awareness, advocating for change, and empowering more individuals and communities across Indonesia. Education and skills development are the most effective weapons against exploitation, especially for the poor, and we work towards promoting resilience and self-reliance through soft skills development among vulnerable communities—through communication, critical thinking, and leadership skills.
Through advocacy, collaboration
and focused activities we aim to:
1.
Inform communities about realities of modern slavery.
2.
Empower individuals with soft skills toward livelihood sustainability and resistance to exploitation.
3.
Raise Awareness by examining modern slavery through lenses both of individual vulnerable individuals and of corporate entities, addressing gaps in knowledge.
4.
Stimulate Dialogue by encouraging open discussion toward responsibility accountability, good business practice and fair labour standards.
